The following is part 1 of the combined March and April India
report for 2009. I say part 1 because I am going to post the reports
over several days (7) since it would be really long if I posted it all
at the same time.
Remember, these men are from the 14 remaining unreached districts where the two unreached tr!bal groups we are working with live.

District 9
162 people trained in 15 districts. In one village, believers were meeting in a brother’s home when a family brought a paralytic man. The believers prayed for the sick man who immediately recovered. The healed man and his family of 7 accepted the Lord, and a home fellowship was started in their village. Also, a leader prayed for a woman who was sick with a burning in her body three times in one week, and she was healed. The following week she accepted the Lord with her husband. There is a man who was diagnosed with tuberculosis in December. He tried the local hospital, but his health condition became even worse. His brother-in-law who was a believer shared the gospel with him and brought him to one of our trainings. The volunteers prayed for him, and the man started to recover in 3 weeks. Once the man recovered fully, he started to share his testimony with his friends, family, and neighbors. Soon there were lines of people waiting to be baptized. Through his efforts in March and April alone, 263 people were baptized. Now that man is back to work and continues to share his faith with many people everyday; his slogan is “one soul a day.” 32 house groups formed, and 17 new Churches started in March and April.
District 10
190 people trained in 16 villages. A village farmer was suffering from a long-term fever. He went to several witchcraft doctors and local village healers, but never got any better. Finally he visited a city hospital where he discovered that he had a tumor in his stomach which had to be removed and would take a lot of money which he did not have. During one of our trainings, our trainers prayed for him, and miraculously the tumor was gone in two weeks. Following this, he not only accepted Christ with his family but willingly had a house group started in his home and is preaching the Good News with fervency. In one village, an old farmer was healed of permanent deafness in both ears. Also, a bicycle repair man came to visit our training site. This is what he had to say: he heard the gospel one year ago when someone who came to get his bicycle repaired shared the gospel with him; he prayed the prayer of confession, and the stranger told him to find Christians, to get baptized, and then as a disciple, to share his faith; saying this, the stranger never returned. Ever since, the repair man has been looking for Christian people to be baptized, and he has shared his faith with 250 people from his village—out of which 113 are waiting to be baptized with him. The man also said that they have never read nor seen a Bible, but once in a while some of them get together to talk about their Jesus, their faith, and their new lives they have received in Christ. Awesome! Now we have arranged for the baptisms and started house groups for fellowship and discipling. 32 new house groups formed, and 20 churches started in March and April.
