glimpse of how God is working to bring glory to His name. Thank you

District 1
Trained 51 people in 4 villages. During
one of the trainings, the villagers brought a man who had suffered from
epilepsy for many years. The trainer prayed for the sick man and he
was instantly healed. A local witch doctor, who had tried to heal this
man in the past, was so impressed with God's power that he openly
renounced all of his practices and publicly burned all of his witch
doctor implements. He accepted the Lord as his savior and began
telling others. The witch doctor has such an influence over the whole
village area that in only three weeks, 60% of the people turned to the
Lord. Where there was only 1 church, now there are 12 churches in this
village area. In addition, this district is reporting 17 new house
groups and 183 baptisms.
District 2
Trained 49 people in 3 villages. In one
village, two sisters became followers of Jesus and they began to
travel, on foot, to their friends, their relatives and their networks,
sharing how their lives had changed. Within two-weeks, they had been
instrumental in opening 8 villages for the gospel. This district is
reporting 4 new churches, 8 new house groups and 39 baptisms.
District 3
Trained 60 people in 4 villages. In one
village, a farmer had suffered a brain fever for some time. The local
believers fasted and prayed for him and he was healed. His whole
family, of 8 people, became followers of Jesus. In another village, a
woman had been sick with an issue of blood for more than 4-years. She
had visited many different witch craft doctors, but they had not been
able to heal her. Our trainer heard of this woman and went to visit
her. He shared the good news with her and told her of the healing
power of God. He prayed for her and she was healed. Now, she and her
household of 6 people are following Jesus. This district is reporting
2 new churches and 5 new house groups.
District 4
Trained 52 people in 5 villages. One of
our training supervisors has been arrested and accused of breaking
conversion laws. His case goes to the Supreme Court next month. The
court officials have refused our attempts at bail. He is in deep
trouble and we need to be praying for him. The persecution in this
district continues to be very high, as evidenced by our leader's arrest
and jailing. In spite of this, this district is reporting 4 new
churches and 6 new house groups.
District 5
Trained 58 people in 5 villages. Three
of our volunteers have been sick with a strong fever and infection in
their liver. In one village area, our trainer began visiting a local
village hospital. He met a man who had been suffering from bone cancer
for more than six-years. He began to share with this man and kept
visiting him. After doing this for several months the sick man asked
our trainer to pray for his healing. The sick man's doctors are saying
that he has gone from a stage 4 cancer to a stage 1 cancer. This move
of God gave our trainer access to many others in the hospital. This
access has resulted in 17 people accepting the Lord in 4 months and 5
homes being opened for meetings. We plan to have a training among
these new brothers and sisters in mid-April. The man with the bone
cancer and his household were baptized in mid-February. He said that
he is no longer afraid to
die. This district is reporting 5 new house groups and 47 baptisms.
District 6
Trained 48 people in 3 villages. The
training in this district has been very successful, compared to last
year. We had 17 volunteers helping out last year. This year, we have
more than 50 volunteers and there is a growing demand for the training
among village churches. We, here in India, continue to thank brother
Eric, those who have come with him to teach, all those who are praying
and the financial partners who have made all of this possible. In one
village, an influential landlord was healed of acute asthma. This
healing resulted in many under his influence coming to faith in Jesus.
This district is reporting 13 new house groups, 6 new churches and 51
baptisms.
District 7
Trained 60 people in 3 villages. One of
our volunteers was killed in a bus accident. This sister, and her two
children who received major injuries as well, were on their way to a
village area to do some promotion prior to one of our training
sessions. Please pray for the children and her husband as they walk
through this time of grief. In one village, a man was healed of a
prolonged skin disease that he had been treating for almost 2-years.
He is now a follower of Jesus because he has been an eyewitness to the
power of God. This district is reporting 3 new churches and 8 new
house groups.
District 8
Trained 46 people in 3 villages. A
demonized man was brought to one of the trainings. The villagers say
that this man has been demonized for many years. Our trainer commanded
the demons to leave and many demons left this man. Because of this
manifestation of God's power, many in that village began to follow
Jesus. In another village, a farmer's wife was delivered from demons
that had tormented her for more than 4-years. This display of God's
power resulted in her whole household of 9 becoming followers of
Jesus. This district is reporting 9 new churches, 5 new house groups
and 46 baptisms.
